Where Things Actually Stand
This page isn't a highlights reel. I'll tell you plainly where the technology stands, where the business stands, and what I don't know yet.
The Technology
My technical prototyping is finished, and the risk that came with it is gone. Every option below already went through that evaluation and won. None of it is still being decided.
- Website: Finalized. The same technology runs every live site, including this one.
- CRM: In late-stage feature integration. The core is running; what's left is wiring the remaining pieces together, not designing them.
- Mobile app: Early phase. Development has started, but the app isn't carrying real work yet.
The First Two Websites
darteno.com is the first private website I built and run on the platform: a real landscaping and hardscaping company, not a demo.
cabinetpros.ca is the domain I've reserved for the first shared regional site: registered and ready to build out once a company is running on it.
Where I Am With Customers
I'm reaching out to potential seed customers now. Nobody has run a full season on the system yet, so I haven't validated the business model itself: the pricing, the percentage structure, and the shared-site model are all still being tested against real use, not just my assumptions.
The first companies who sign up get a significant discount off the pricing above. In exchange, I want honest feedback from you, and a review only if I earn one.
What I'm Already Learning
Early traffic shows most visitors who arrive through an AI search go straight to a phone call instead of browsing the rest of the site first. That's pushing me to lean harder into how I write pages for AI search, not only for a person reading top to bottom.
It also means what a website says you can do has to match what you can actually do. An AI assistant or a homeowner checks that gap fast. I ask every contractor on the platform for real photos of their own work, and the services listed have to be ones they can actually deliver.
If You Want to Help Build This
It's just me right now. If you want to help develop the business concept itself, not just use the finished product, I want to talk to you.
